Dr. Oliphant was born and raised in Chatham-Kent and founded the Complete Eye and Vision Care Centre. He then went on to start his current practice, Dr. David Oliphant Optometry. Dr. Oliphant is a graduate of the renowned University of Waterloo School of Optometry. He has published three papers on colour vision and is an authorized “Night Vision Tester” for police service applications.
Although Dr. Oliphant’s primary focus is treating and diagnosing his patients’ visual problems, he takes great pride in interacting with them on a more personal level.
“I enjoy taking the time to speak with each one of my patients. This includes not just their visual needs but perhaps a new development in their family life or work life. It is important for me and my team at the centre to connect with our patients on a professional and personal level.”
Dr. Oliphant is a member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario, the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
